The Property was once owned by the Paper Company and the lot rented by Don Sanborn and wife Jean. They built the camp from scratch and stayed here for 40 years, eight of those years full time. During these eight years they transformed the camp more into a home than just a summer place to visit.
They decided in 2006 to sell the camp, which we bought in 2007. My husband and I loved the camp so much we got married on our front lawn in June 2008.
It was in 2009 Don returned to the camp as caretaker, staying often and checking on things. Don and Jean returned to the camp and spent the 2010 summer here.
